Our Design Philosophy
Drawing on our range of literary thousands of potential flow control configurations and years of experience our team aim to provide the optimum solution for your particullar installation.
The key to efficiency is the classic S-Curve associated with all vortex flow control devices. The relatively large outlet area not only reduces maintenance but inherently increases the volume of water that can safely be discharged. High initial flow lowers the retention volume required on site reducing the associated infrastructure costs. To maximise this effect we design a unit with an initial peak flow close to but not exceeding the required limit. With such a large family of curves to choose from we can specify the best possible solution

Manufacture
At Crown Water we operate our own modern, in-house productiom unit. Facilities include full CAD/ CAM operation and a state-of-the art CNC Fibre Laser Cutter to ensures precision components and rapid turnaround time.
We are able to control the entire process from order to delivery to ensure both quality and efficiency. Having our own facilities also enables us where required, to fully customise or Vortex Flow Control units to fit specific needs on site.
Custom Fabrication
We also have the capacity to undertake custom fabrication and laser cutting. We can quote for one-off projects or small batch production in stainelll steel and other non -ferous metals.
Research & Development
An ongoing research and testing programme in our purpose built Hydraulics Lab helps us to improve and expand the range of flow controls we can offer.
