The key to efficiency is the classic S-Curve associated with all vortex flow control devices. The relatively large outlet area not only reduces maintenance but inherently increases the volume of water that can safely be discharged. High initial flow lowers the retention volume required on site reducing the associated infrastructure costs. To maximise this effect we design a unit with an initial peak flow close to but not exceeding the required limit. With such a large family of curves to choose from we can specify the best possible solution
