Orifice plates are used to control the flow leaving a site, however, they do not offer the S-shaped curve that a Vortex Flow Control offers.

This type of Flow Control works by holding back water and causing the water pressure to increase, which in turn pushes the flow of water through the plates orifice to a maximum of your required Flow Rate at your required Head Figure.

Orifice plates have the benefit of being much smaller – meaning they are perfect for smaller chambers where a Vortex Flow Control is not practical.

Available in Straight or curved (curved is an optional extra) and with or without a bypass door (Bypass door is an optional extra) we can make Orifice Plates to suit most types and sizes of chamber and shapes and sizes of plate required.
